Reicast - Dreamcast emulator r20.04

Reicast is the only Dreamcast emulator available for Android, allowing you to enjoy your favorite Dreamcast games on the go and in HD. While it is not perfect yet, it has made significant progress and can already run many games.

It's important to note that this download does not include any games or BIOS files, as distributing them would be illegal. Instead, users must dump their BIOS files and games from their own Dreamcast.

When installing Reicast, you will need to grant certain permissions:

• "Photos/Media/Files" -> to read game images and BIOS files
• "Camera/Microphone" -> for Dreamcast microphone emulation
• "Device & app history" -> to read emulator crash logs. You can submit the logs via the included menu to help us solve issues.

Setting up Reicast involves a few steps:

1. Create a folder named "reicast", and inside it create a folder named "data". Place the BIOS files (dc_boot.bin & dc_flash.bin) inside the data folder. Please note that Windows may hide the file extension, so the filename might appear as "dc_boot" in Windows Explorer.
2. Create a folder anywhere on your device and place your Dreamcast games inside. Reicast currently supports .gdi, .chd (v4), and .cdi disc formats, although .cdi is discouraged due to compatibility issues.
3. Open Reicast and select the "reicast" folder you created as the system path.
4. In order to save your gameplay progress, you will need to format the memory cards. To do this, start the program, select the "boot BIOS" option, go to the "file" menu, choose the memory cards, and then select the "delete all" option.
5. Finally, use the game navigator to locate your games. You can also set up a default game path if you prefer.
